About Carter House Productions
Diana Lynn Carter established Carter House Productions in 2005. An award-winning writer with 28 years of experience, Carter has been a newspaper reporter and editor, an on-air talent and writer for children’s radio, assignment editor for television news and led an award-winning creative services team at KSBY 6, an NBC affiliate.
She has also worked as a copywriter and public relations specialist for advertising agencies and for individual clients. Carter has earned Telly awards for television commercials and a California Newspaper Publisher’s Award for her work in newspaper special editions. She has also created educational music that has been approved by the California Department of Education and is the author of three children’s music albums. Her business, Carter House Productions, has provided a variety of creative media services for businesses, medical agencies, colleges, non-profit organizations, television affiliates, radio stations and advertising agencies. These services have included: professional writing and commercial production, web and corporate video, voiceovers and narration for broadcasting and film, and music jingles and custom songs.
Because of her extensive media experience, Carter was selected to be on the Cal Poly State University Journalism Department lecture pool from 2005 to 2007. She has been a guest lecturer in the journalism and education departments. The mother of two grown children and recently bestowed the honor of “Grandmother,” Carter resides on the California Central Coast.
